Small cushion with images of tree leaves silkscreen printed in black on a heavy off-white khadi cotton twill.

Tilla’s designer, Aratrik Dev Varman, developed the prints for the 7 Indian Trees collection from photographs taken on his travels across India.

In the case of the small cushions the leaves depicted are those of the gulmohar and neem trees.

The bright flowers of the gulmohar or flamboyant tree (Delonix regia) herald the arrival of the fiery summer heat, while its dense foliage offers a welcome shady shelter.

The neem tree or margosa (Azadirachta indica) is widely used in Ayurveda for its medicinal and antiseptic properties.

Also available in this range are throws, table runners, serviettes, the Peasant Tunic, the Rabari Jacket, silk scarves and cards.

As the fabric used for each cushion cover is cut from a larger piece all are different.
