This quilt is one of the pieces made by Gangaben after attending the design school set up by Kala Raksha Trust to support the artisans of Kutch (India).
The front of the quilt has a pattern of concentric squares, created with plain and printed cottons cut into triangles and squares respectively.
The shades of pink and purple used are unusual for textiles from western India.
The reverse of the quilt is a single sheet with floral motifs printed in black and copper red on a dark turmeric yellow ground.Fabric triangles decorate the corners and sides of the quilt.
